We have suspended our traditional CSA model, where customers receive a weekly box of seasonal items chosen by the farmers based on what is in season. 

​

This year we are offering a free-choice "Market Share" in which customers still prepay for produce, but they can spend their balance however they'd like at our market booth and directly from the farm. A variation of the traditional CSA produce box, our Market Card functions as a physical debit card and enables you the flexibility of selecting the items you want each week--just swipe and go. And for every $100 spent, you get $10 free!

What can you buy with your market card? A whole lot!

Seasonal veggies, free-range eggs, pastured chicken, fresh flowers, homemade soap,

plants starts (spring), French bread & poppyseed rolls.

HOW IT WORKS

Once you've purchased one of the Market Card options, a gift card with your name will be loaded with the value you selected. We will hang on to your card and pull it out whenever you purchase items at our booth (Freeman Farmers Market on Wednesday evenings and Market at the Meridian in Yankton on Saturday mornings). This makes it easy for other family members to use it, if you wish! We will let you know your remaining balance after each transaction, and you are always free to purchase another share mid-season to reload your card. We will also put you on a mailing list to receive a weekly e-newsletter, as well as inform you if and when there are items available in bulk.

SEASON LENGTH

The card expires at the end of the calendar year, and there are no refunds. Cardholders are welcome to purchase items directly from us outside of the Farmers Market season. 

Freeman: June-September (18 weeks)

Yankton: May-October (26 weeks)
